This project aims to develop intelligent design solutions for the South Dakota State University (SDSU) Student Union. The need for these solutions were discovered through multiple data gathering activities, including video and in person observation, surveys, and having participants complete various timed tasks. There were three test groups; incoming SDSU students, current SDSU students, and Non-student users. These three groups gave me a wide range of user profiles and experiences so I could ensure that my solutions are effective and will elevate the user’s experience of the Student Union.
